Viola - Andrea Guarneri

A full sized 16" 41cm Viola modeled after the Andrea Guarneri, featuring the distinct scroll top handle that reflect's the Italian master's signature style. Andrea Guarneri was an apprentice directly under Nicolo Amati and embraced the foundational craftmanship, while introducing a more expressive style and freedom in his own work.

Gaurneri's work not only emphasized aesthetic details, it also signified a shift in sound, helping to establish the Viola as a powerful instrument. This model embodies that tradition, with an enhanced resonance and robust tonal quality that allow it to produce a strong, commanding sound. It's design is well suited for concert performances, chamber music and solo pieces enabling players to fully explore the instrument's rich lower register and dynamic range.
